Plainfield – State Representative Mark Batinick (R-Plainfield) recently completed another round of community talks, this time speaking with various locally elected officials around District 97. The discussions come at a time when many people and agencies are hoping to see the State’s budget.
Rep. Batinick stated, “While we have yet to see bipartisan negotiations to bring a budget, part of my duty is to keep community leaders informed of the current situation, and also discuss my own ideas I’d like the State to consider. With this tour of meetings I heard the concerns of community leaders and let them know that I am embarking upon solutions for our District.”
The districtwide meetings were held with community leaders in Oswego, Plainfield, and Shorewood.
