PLAINFIELD– Over 50 area vendors covering a wide range of educational, health and child care, recreational and community services will participate in State Rep.
Mark Batinick’s Children’s Safety Expo to be held from 9:00am – 12:30pm on Saturday, June 17 at Plainfield Central High School, located at 24120 Fort Beggs Drive. The annual event features the popular Traveling World of Reptiles Show and a Touch-A-Truck exhibit with over 25 vehicles for the kids to see, touch and sit in.
Admission to the event is FREE with complimentary refreshments and giveaways also provided. Information will be available on topics such as bicycle safety, after-school activities, nutrition, and diabetes prevention; to name just a few. Free face-painting will also be available.
“I am very excited to host an event that connects kids and families to the tremendous local resources and activities available throughout our area,” Rep. Batinick said. “This Fair will be interactive, fun and informational for families of all ages.” Event details are as follows:
