Rep. Batinick Announces Final Term in 102nd General Assembly

PLAINFIELD – On Wednesday, State Representative Mark Batinick (R-Plainfield) announced that he will complete his final term in the Illinois House of Representatives at the end of the 102nd General Assembly. He released the following statement:

“After seven years serving in the Illinois House of Representatives, I have decided that my final term will conclude with the end of the 102nd General Assembly in 2023. It has been an honor to serve the 97th District for the past seven years. I have seen such tremendous goodness in our communities, especially with our Helping Hands program at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. I look forward to my final year in the House and continuing to work on issues such as addressing our pension crisis, implementing property tax relief, and creating the conditions for growth in Illinois.”
